 Essential oils can be very helpful for the treatment of skin. Choosing the right kind of essential oils is very important that are not sensitive to the skin such as frankincense, tea tree, or lavender. Before the treatment with essential oils the type of skin is need to be finding out.

The most common way people have treated oily skin is to use lemon oil combined with carrier oil. A mixture of essential oils like carrier oil such as coconut oil or almond oil with 2 to 5% of lemon oil and let the mixture of essential oils stay on your face for a few minutes then wash them off. Another important issue to remember is to avoid sunlight for at least 24 hours when using any citrus oil to insure skin irritation does not occur.
